The Great Hall has a rustic-elegant vibe with its wooden beams and stained-glass windows, creating endless opportunities to design an event unique to you and yours! Ceremony
Treat your guests to gorgeous long-range views of the Blue Ridge Mountains by placing your ceremony arch against our beautiful double French doors. Seeking a cozier backdrop? Say your vows in front of our stone fireplace in the middle of the Great Hall, or even place candles of varying sizes to bring warmth to your intimate moment together. Raining on your wedding day? No problem – The Great Hall is the perfect backup plan. In case of inclement weather, the Great Hall can accommodate up to 80 people for an indoor ceremony.
Cocktail Hour
Castle Ladyhawke only hosts one wedding per day, no matter which wedding package you have selected. You and your guests will have access to all areas of the castle and its grounds. Let the Great Hall be the hub of your cocktail hour after your ceremony by setting up cocktail tables around the room and placing your bar there! This space provides an ample amount of room if you plan on hiring additional vendors such as live painters, photo booths, or even the set-up of a champagne wall.
Reception
The Great Hall is perfect for an indoor reception for up to 65 guests. We provide a variety of tables with all of our packages, allowing you to choose between all rounds, all rectangles, or a mixture of both. The Great Hall is next to the gorgeous iron doors of the castle’s front entrance, making your grand entrance into your reception as newlyweds one to remember.
