Discovery Tours are available any day of the week, all year round, excluding major holidays. Anytime is a great time to book this package, but we suggest booking around the same time of year that your wedding will be to get the best feel of the environment.

During your personal tour of Castle Ladyhawke, couples can expect to be meeting with a team of experts that will guide you throughout the castle. We’ll be discussing your vision for your perfect day while making suggestions and helpful tips, while providing specific pictures and examples of weddings done in the past.

What is available for couples to experience at Bear Lake Reserve?

There are endless things to experience at Bear Lake Reserve! Golfing, boating, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, disc golfing, hiking, dining, tennis, pickleball, and swimming in either the pool or lake. We also have scheduled activities such as guided hikes, movie nights, and s’mores on the beach. You may also see some wildlife that you’ve never seen before.

Is there anything outside of Bear Lake Reserve and Castle Ladyhawke that couples visiting for Wedding Discovery Tours should experience?

Downtown Sylva is full of fun! Our Preferred Caterer, Chef Santiago, owns the award-winning restaurant Ilda, which is located downtown. Couples should consider making dinner reservations to sample some of his amazing food (we recommend the polenta and the meatballs). There are several breweries such as Innovation and The Wine Bar that provide an excellent night out as well!
